This is an experiment. I'm obsessed with capturing time and I wanted a way to see and look back at what was being covered as the major story in a given day.

SCREAMER NEWS pulls in RSS feeds once a day across four separate topics: Politics, Sports, Culture, and Tech, and then passes them to an AI to parse what storylines were covered the most and what the major events were. It then chooses the top five, summarizes them, and links back to the original sources.

I'm pretty anti-AI, so obviously utilizing it in this way goes against a lot of what I believe. That being said, I tried to minimize how much AI is used through the process and use as much logic to pull RSS feeds, format text, post to this site, as I can. The next step is seeing if I can get it to run on a small local model.
